Peace Concert: Celebrate The Season Sunrise Concert reviews
Always a good time!!
The Peace Concert: Celebrate The Season was an absolute blast the last time I saw it. It was opening for George Strait, and I had fun watching all the little white-haired ladies around me bopping around during his mostly stripped-down acoustic set. The first time I saw Peace Concert: Celebrate The Season, it was on tour with Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban. He held his own amongst those guys in a full leg cast, which was not an easy thing! Headlining was amazing to see him finally. He still rocked playing the guitar despite the wrist cast. I could see the things he learned from Kenny amongst other things, bringing openers on up during his set. The music and performance were solid, and my favorite part was watching my 5-year-old experience her first concert ever. My 9-year-old was in awe, and neither of my daughters have stopped raving yet. They are ready to go see him again. Truth is, so am I!
The venue was amazing, and I felt seen! I'm one of those rare folks that just doesn't like to drink alcohol at shows. We still brought our own water, but to have iced coffees available was perfect for me. I may have spent about $30 on coffee alone (which also helped for the drive home since I'm usually in bed at 9:30). Leaving was the only thing that sucked, but there is only so much you can do. They have their method of getting folks out safely and as quickly as possible. As long as you have patience and snacks, all is well.
